Delay

My computer crashed and erased an hour of writing. I lost part 2 of the Calvinism series, completely and irretrivably. I don't know if I have the energy or the time to start it all over again, so it'll be a few more hours or days. Sorry folks.

My computer is evil. That is all.

So, either your computer was predestined to crash or God is trying to tell you something about this topic... KIDDING!

Last week I had to reformat my computer. My backup was incomplete and I lost two unfinished book manuscripts, so I do deeply sympathize.

Peace,
Jamie

Weep not, dear Grey Owl and Jamie. Your writing is not gone, but floating around in the ether and Doing Good. I'm sure of it. If I thought that everything I'd written and lost was just...gone...I'd have to end it all.

You know how Buddhists believe that the meditation they do in private betters us all via our collective consiousness? Well, that's what lost writing does to the...um...ether. I swear.

If you guys think this is bad, wait 'till you hear this: I once had an answering machine that made long distance phone calls. And not just anywhere, but to us on the road. You have no idea how creepy it is to pick up the phone on vacation and hear your answering machine, it's souless, recorded voice inviting you to leave your name and number...

New post almost done. Should be up in an hour or so. Thanks for the encouragement!

Here's to lost documents... may your trip through the ether be fruitful. Amen.
