What Tolkien Race Are You?
Numenorean
To which race of Middle Earth do you belong?
brought to you by Quizilla
I'd say my results make sense, except for the "tragic" part. Although there was that time I killed the king of Scotland at my wife's urgings...

Can't figure out how to link my image from photo bucket, but I was pegged as:
Rohirrim
Fierce, Courageous, Loyal
Where is the horse and the rider?
Where is the helm and the hauberk?
And the bright hair flowing?
Don't know what a hauberk is, but I am fierce, once in a while courageous and definately loyal.
I do have flowing hair, my dd has the horse thing covered, so I think it was somwhat accurate
:)
I love tolkien.
Makes total sense to me :)
Elvish: Ethereal. Lyrical. Perceptive. Eldest of all, the elf-children.
My knees are telling me that I'm lacking in the ethereal, but I can be lyrical on a good day. And perceptive, when I'm lucky.
Entish
Wise, Cautious, Resilient
Ent the earthborn,
Old as mountains.
Kerri - that doesn't surprise me a bit!
Scott - I thought I'd fall into the "elf" category, but The Numenoreans are actually not that far off. Their island was as far west as you could go without reaching the Undying Lands. I'm a huge nerd.
jon with no h - good to see you again, buddy. And I think that quiz nailed you too.
Well, from one nerd to another, Cheers! on the Numenorean category. Aragorn is awesome and, of course, he does have elvin blood in him, being descended as all Numenorean royals are from Elrond's brother, Elros.
Yes, which makes him and Arwen 200th cousins or something. Not as creepy as perhaps some would insinuate. Although the important part of the story is that they are reuniting the lines of the half-elves. Here's a question: what human and what elf first married to start the half-elf line, and what real-life couple were they analogous to?
Come on, someone out-nerd me!
Beren and Luthien? Though I do not know the real-life analogous couple. King Nerd, I bow before thee. ; )
That is correct - and the real life couple is none other than Tolkien himself and his wife. They actually had the names Beren and Luthien placed on their tombstones. It adds a whole new quality to the story for me.
I remember reading that now. Impressive, young Skywalker.

On the "elvish" thing...
Word has it that my ancient Scottish Clan -- Siol Alpin -- means in very old Gaelic "of elvish origin".
May explain my penchant for fine ales, but beyond that, it beats me what the significance might be! :)
Scott - The Force is strong with this one...
Rob - That may make sense, because as we all know the Celtic people originally came from Atlantis. Maybe the elves were from Atlantis?
BTW, I think the ale thing is not elf-related - juts damn good taste.
I guess it makes sense that we'd be from the same race, eh little bro?
Makes perfect sense to me, ymerej. But how did we get pegged as "Dignified"?
Cool Quiz! I love LOTR --The Return of the King was my favorite. My result was Elvish (Ethereal, Lyrical, Perceptive).
Christine - thanks for dropping by - and ROTK is my favorite, too. Such grand tales...
